Extrasport Semi Dry Top - Long Sleeve (For Men and Women)

Finally had a cold enough night to try the top out for the opening of Lobster Season. Loved it at first, except I prefer drawstrings over the Velcro tabs at the outer abdomen closure. Easy on/off vs. other models. Neck opens enough for some breathing when paddling a distance. Stayed dry but felt cool air/so should be good for layering. However small wrist Velcro tabs stopped functioning well after 8 hours and would then grab my gloves or lobster netting. Definitely lowers my satisfaction - should be Velcro strips.

I bought this to extend my sea kayak season seriously into winter, and it does it very well. Great quality, and an absolute bargain.

For the price this semi-dry top is a great outer layer. A little tight around the wrists but easy to get used to and no water enters through these areas. Very comfortable and dry while paddeling.

Haven't had a chance to try it on the river (still frozen!), but it's very well thought out and constructed. A little tricky to take off because of the necissary rubber wrist gaskets, but it's the price you pay for not having water run down your sleeves! An exceptional value

I bought a medium for myself (5' 8" 145 lb. woman) and an extra large for my boyfriend (5' 10" 180 lb man) and the fit was good for both of us. The arms are long for me, but I don't mind. Functionally, this is a great piece. I wore it canoeing in 50-60 degree weather with just a t-shirt underneath and I was warm but not hot the whole time, sun or shade. Seems fairly breathable yet wind resistant. Wrist seals keep the water off your arms. Neck is not too tight - - I can't handle tight necks on shirts. Will be great for sea kayaking. Very pleased for the price.

this thing is great, the price is good and it is well worth it. It should last many years of intense whitewater abuse.

Although we haven't tried this yet on the river, after trying on several models, brands and sizes we settled on the Extrasport for the solid structure, sealing wrist gaskets and comfortable neck opening. We purchased this for a early season (cold) river rafting trip. My wife tried to get this brand as well and the small had quite wide shoulders, it would have worked but we decided on a full dry top for her.

I bought this product to wear in freezing waters. I have tried it on but not used it in the water. It seems likeit is just what I was looking for. The price was right!!
