    I have a couple of breathable Extrasport Splash items for my kayaking. They work well as far as keeping you warm in cold times. They are kind of breathable but you will still sweat a lot in them. For example, you will sweat a whole lot more in waterproof non-breathable nylon. I like them because they fit my uses and budget.

    I'm a pretty big guy for a kayaker, but according to sizing chart thought this would fit. I wear a 48 sportcoat, but this top was too tight in the shoulders & chest. Could hardly fit it on or take it off. Can't imagine trying to paddle in it. Had to send it back. Extrasports largest size, so will have to try another brand.

    I have had it out a few times with changing weather conditions/seasons. Kept me dry but more breathable than my longsleeves, so I did not overheat when paddling long distances.Very easy on/off, so I will be using it when the waves are bigger or early launches when I know the mornings/water is cold, but the days are hot.
