    Fabulous and UNUSUAL Eye shirt - and a true work of art! Different and head-turning style that's perfect with a skirt or slacks for the workplace or with jeans or leggings for weekend wear. LUV the chocolate-brown velvet trim and the ruching! The color is a very "cool" brown, perhaps an "umber" shade...it almost has an olive tint. Super nice!

    I was considering this shirt for a long time but felt that it might be too "buttoned up", stuffy and conservative. Finally I bought one in gray. I loved it! It is flattering and form-fitting yet has all the beautiful detail in fabric and trim that Eye is known for. I then hurried and bought one in the second color!

    This is a lovely blouse and generously cut - there's quite a bit of built-in stretch and rather to my delight I probably could have got away with going down a size (I am Australian size 14-16, which is US size 12-14, and bought this in a US size 14). The ruching on the sleeves does tend to make my larger upper arms look a bit bigger, but that's me and not the shirt - there is an almost Gibson Girl line to the arms and shoulders otherwise. The buttons are sewn on with a bit of a shank and the front button band sits flat and neat over the bust and abdomen despite the stretchy fabric. Very comfortable, flattering and easy to wear.
