“Somewhat High Mainenance, But Worth It”

“This is a well-made, stylish shirt. It's too bad there's no picture of the back lacing that make the shirt so distinctive. And the lacing allows for a custom fit in the bodice. The shirt does require ironing, which takes a bit longer than usual because of the lacing. I like the style enough that I'm willing to spend the time. The tag says hand wash, but I washed it in the machine, on the delicate setting, inside a large lingerie bag. The care tag says the shirt may be dry cleaned. However, it has nacre buttons that will be damaged by the process. I've learned from experience not to depend on the dry cleaner to notice and remove them beforehand. Then, of course, they must be sewn back on.”
