Eye Shoestring Shirt - Long Sleeve (For Women)

I bought this shirt to be worn under a suit jacket but it is lovely on its own that it is best to wear without something covering it. That said, it is slightly see through but no problem.

This can be made to fit beautifully! I agree with a previous reviewer who said it became a cornerstone of her wardrobe - I think it will be great!

I bought this because I dreaded going to the mall (just as short-sleeved season is nearly upon us,) to look for a blouse I didn't want to buy. I need a LONG-sleeved, white blouse, with a collar, for a special event; and I don't generally buy white. Also, it will be worn in the summer heat. Thought I'd check here, and was delighted with the selection. I chose this one because of all the positive comments about it. I wasn't sure about the lacing up the back, but I think it will be fine. I love the cuffs, it has a certain style without being too young for me or unbecoming, and it fits! Even though it is white, I look forward to finding something to wear with it at other times than the one it is required for. The fabric quality is very fine, and I was thrilled with the price. It may be difficult to iron, though, with the special detailing. I know I will receive many compliments on it and have to tell where I acquired it!

This is a very nice shirt but unfortunately it is too tight across the bust and I am not particularly well endowed. The rest fits well, so a larger size won't work. Hate to have to return it.

This is a well-made, stylish shirt. It's too bad there's no picture of the back lacing that make the shirt so distinctive. And the lacing allows for a custom fit in the bodice. The shirt does require ironing, which takes a bit longer than usual because of the lacing. I like the style enough that I'm willing to spend the time. The tag says hand wash, but I washed it in the machine, on the delicate setting, inside a large lingerie bag. The care tag says the shirt may be dry cleaned. However, it has nacre buttons that will be damaged by the process. I've learned from experience not to depend on the dry cleaner to notice and remove them beforehand. Then, of course, they must be sewn back on.

This blouse is of the consistent quality and fit of this brand. The eyelet lacing up the back adds interesting detail, the fabric is nice and the blouse just feels good.

I am a comfort clothes wearer, but thought I'd try to get more dressed up for holiday parties. This blouse is very stylish and attractive. It doesn't have the comfort of my usual knit tops, but it is dressy and fashionable. I like it!

I still cannot believe I was able to find such a well-made, high end blouse at this price! The detail and workmanship on this shirt is of the finest quality. From the front, it is a classic white shirt with nice detailing, and from the back, the lace up detail adds a bit of flair. This shirt is now one of my wardrobe staples - it gets a LOT of wear and handles it beautifully.

Flattering, cool, comfortable, attractive. A very nice shirt. The only tiny drawback for me: I'm not crazy about the bright gold color of the grommets for the laces in the back. Someone complimented this blouse on its very first outing. Others have noted that the shirt requires ironing. I generally expect that a cotton blouse will need ironing, so this doesn't 'throw' me.

This shirt is clearly well made and I got lots of compliments the first time I wore it. Unfortunately it must be ironed!!
