“This is an elegant, flattering sweater. The description doesn't make it sufficiently clear that two pieces are pictured in the photo, and that this item is only the TOP piece (shrug), which does not include the shell underneath. I count myself lucky that the shell was still available for purchase when I was buying, so I own the matching set. The shrug looks very good over a black lycra or black velvet shell underneath. I'd recommend that route for anyone who wants to buy the shrug now that the shell is apparently unavailable. Computer monitors vary in the way they display color; on my computer this photo is very true to the actual color of the sweater, which is a dark, subdued plum color. My only word of advice - if you're between sizes, order up. This runs just a tad small.”
