    I bought these for use with my western boots. It's hard to find thin, breathable wool socks that stay up. These seem to fit the bill. Aside from that, they are very nice socks to wear with a suit or business casual if you like over the calf.

    Maybe these are made for stepping through airport security?? Dunno about the name, but I know Falke quality--first rate. Extra length and they stay up. Only negative is they are plain flat weave; no ribbing, pattern or color variation; not a bad thing, but pretty boring, especially in scarlet!
