These dishes all craze and crack, something wrong with manufacture. Hence they are DANGEROUS. By the time you see a craze/crack with the naked eye, there will be tons of tiny cracks not visible ....they let bacteria get through that is absorbed by the earthenware where the bacteria actually multiplies. these are not functional and should not be used. So do not buy them, if you get them you should return them or throw them away. Real china is another matter, it will not absorb bacteria and can be washed...that is why old china is still worth $ when it is crazed....not the case with these and other ceramics. STP is great, took them back, I don't know why they are still on the website.

I like the dishes. This set was adding to misc. dish set we already have. The pieces are all a generously sized, which is great as I do most of the family dinners and I like big plates for those types of events.

This ceramic dinnerware would make a wonderful second or third set, perhaps for the kids, all 16 pieces.

After using these dishes for a couple of months, several of them have cracks in the finish. Most disappointing are the dark cracks inside the cups from the coffee getting in the crack. I don't have a dishwasher, so everything has been hand washed. Another factor that should be considered before purchase is the size. The dinner plates are more like platters.

After doing some research on other websites regarding this dinnerware I was worried about the finish crackling. Although it is a small issue with regard to the mugs, it really hasn't happened except to a few dishes (and those get washed much more frequently.) For the price that these are available, they are beautiful dishes and I am happy with our purchase. We have used these dishes for 2 weeks now and wash in the dishwasher in sani-cycle. The dishes are marked dishwasher-safe although this site specifies handwash. Hopefully, the finish will not become an issue in the future. Also, the dishes are very large, and the soup bowl is shallow and wide. Love it!
