Closeouts. You'd expect a few preppy undertones in a fabric labeled Cape Cod plaid, and this casual straight skirt from FDJ French Dressing fashions the fabric in a tummy-flattening five pocket with the zipper in back.

This fits perfectly and is a modest knee length. I am 125 lbs and 5'4" and bought a size 4. I am going to have to steam out a few folds, but it was the perfect fit for me and the fabric has enough stretch to make it comfy.

I like the stretch in the fabric, but the front of the skirt looks like the back and the back of the skirt looks like the front...odd design. I kept twisting it around to determine if I was wearing it right....maybe it's just me.

This is a nice and comfy skirt. The plaid is subtle and small and it looks classy. The cut is youthful (I'm not that curvy so this one is slightly two curvy-cut to me but I can live with it). It took me a while to find this kind of skirt - kind of like man's khaki pants for business casual. You can wear it anywhere. I'm 5'3" the the length is just right and respectful for office. Love it. Thanks FDJ please make another one of this with different color

This skirt is shorter than I'd hoped, at least two inches above my knee. It's a very lightweight fabric. Unfortunately it bulges out at the seam below the left pocket in a strange way. I have a denim skirt from this manufacturer that fits great and doesn't seem as short, and I expected this skirt to fit the same way. I like the plaid--there's a little bit of light blue in it, so basically it would go with anything. But the fit is just too odd, so I'll be returning it.
