FDJ French Dressing Peggy Twill Pants - Detailed Stitching, Bootcut (For Women)

I love the brand. When I ordered these I was ordering the high waist! I panicked when opening them up, not the same. Discovered that the interior tag, and the fit was what I wanted, the waistban however says another style. That is the only irregularity that I can see. The fir is what I a used to.

The waistline is perfect for my recently acquired muffin top. The lower waistlines accentuate and this higher rise covers. Love it.

These pants are ok. The waist is kind of high, but the back is cut well & flattering. If the price wasn't so low, I would have returned them.

The Peggy style is supposed to be curvy bootcut with high waist according to the label on the pants. The problem with the actual pants is that the curvy area, what's supposed to be the hips, is cut too low, so it is at the thigh area, making it look like two big pockets on the side of the thighs. The waist also needs to have a little higher rise. If these can be corrected, then it would be a nice curvy bootcut that is hard to find. I am referring to petite size. The picture probably shows a regular size and it looked better (with the curvy part seemingly at the hips and not the thighs).I was hoping the petite I got would have looked like in the picture. Due to the extreme difficulty to find curvy bootcut pants (that are NOT jeans), it's still good enough that the manufacturer even thought of this style. By the way, like the other reviewer pointed out, this pants is mislabeled: it says "Suzanne" on one tag. Also the rear pockets are too low and would be better without the little shinny beads.

I love this line of jeans. I can garden in them, but I can dress the jeans up with a pretty jacket or top. They always feel smooth and comfortable. No baggy or flappy, just made to order!
