Fera Gemini Thermolite® Jacket - Waterproof, Insulated (For Women)

I wanted to replace a 3-in-1 ski jacket that would eliminate the bulk of the zip in fleece liner. This jacket does just that. I looked for a long time to find a reasonably priced jacket that also had the details that I depend on (snow skirt, velcro cuffs, chest pocket, etc) plus style. I would prefer to have the d-ring for attaching gloves on the exterior of the jacket, but that is minor (there is one in a hand pocket). Not sure if the little rubber sleeves on the zipper pulls are supposed to come off, which they did almost immediately.

I have tried 2 sizes in this coat and neither worked for me. The sleeves were too short (I am 5'9" and ordered a 12 and 14), the chest too large (I am a 38D), and too much room in the armpit - in the 14, there was a web from my waist to my elbow.

Everything a ski jacket should be. Whoever designed this jacket knew what they were doing. I am a medium (10/12) and the 12 fit me better with my larger hips, so I have a little more room under the arms now, but it will be good to wear with a fleece or sweater. If you have straight hips, go with the 10. Size 12 arms longer compared to size 10 - velcro cuff closure = good fit. Comfortable thumb holes, nice adjusters at hood and hips, great pockets including an external chest pocket opposite the internal chest pocket - smart, internal mesh goggle pocket, internal music pocket, and 2 hand warmer pockets with a key ring! Secure windowed ski pass pocket that flips down from under the powder skirt so no more hassle with wire ski pass wickets! Internal mesh back to reduce heat build up AND pit zips. What a find. I plan to use it out west very soon and will report back.

All the features I wanted, at a great price! Fit is perfect.

I used the jacket in Niseko japan skiing, i felt a little cold out at night time , but because the jacket had enough room on the back i could put a lot of layers underneath and a soft shell jacket too ( i get really cold!) This jacket is so soft and comfortable, not like other ones Ive had that the fabric feels too ridged , its like wearing a soft blanket!!
