Classic coat creates casing against the cold. Outside stops wind cold, and the flannel combined with quilted lining provides the comfortable warmth needed for contemplative outdoor walks out to the mailbox that, normally, one would fear. Not an outdoor activity coat: I have frequently used for trips to the store/errands, "Casual Friday's" at work, or going out for dinner and drinks with friends. Great for getting car in parking lot without being bitter, or bitterly cold. The lack of a two-way zipper can be moderately overcome with the coat's durable snap buttons, e.g. leave bottom snap undone. Really wish the cuffs on the coat were adjustable, e.g. velcro, softer elastic: The cuffs' wrist elastic was rough against my skin, and kept getting caught on my watch when reaching for things. Loved the flannel: I wish there was more of it. The waist was a little high: Lower the waist, and bring the flannel down to the lower waist line.

Even better quality and appearance. Lots of useful pockets. Warm and comfortable. Good color that won't need cleaning after every use.

The parka is a great buy. The price is great too. Highly recommended.

Saw this coat for less than $30 and in hard to find sizes 2xlt and 3xlt. Was apprehensive about what you could get for this price. Glad I took a chance and ordered two of them, one for a gift. Very nice construction, very warm for IL winter weather. Can not believe I got such a bargain! Would like to see more tall sizes on this site! Many of my friends are tall and have asked about where I got it.

This is a classic coat, well made and durable. I live temporarily in Wisconsin, and I will go back to Minnesota. This coat is not suitable for the winter weather in these two states without layering with a heavy sweater or vest. It is big enough to layer. In my younger years, no coat like this would be made without a double zipper. As far as I am concerned, this is a requirement for getting in and out of a car, shoveling, and doing other work. It also helps to cool off the trunk of the body when walking or cross country skiing. It is a Field and Stream coat and should never have been made without a double zipper.

I keep a coat the office in case I have to go out during the day ... something long enough to fit over a suit jacket and cheap enough that I don't care that much if I forget it someplace. This coat definitely fits that bill, and it's pretty well made, but it's also fairly thin. It'll provide some protection against the elements, but for prolonged exposure to real winter weather, it wouldn't be sufficient. With that caveat, I'd recommend it.

Stiff fabric and not warm enough for upstate NY winters! Wonderful price so will keep and use as outside layer!

I was very impressed when I received these 2 parkas in the mail. I hesitated buying them because of the very low cost, however, the quality was excellent. I was very impressed with them. I purchased one for a gift and one for myself. I had paid over [$] for my last parka and could not believe I got two of these for around [$]each.
