2.0 out of 5 stars. Needed to upgrade my Hunting vest...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from IL on Tuesday, December 23, 2014… so I was glad to see this Filson Orange Vest available on closeout. Bought it big enough to wear over my coveralls for Deer Hunting, but when I took it out of the packaging and unsnapped the "buttons" that run down the front, one of the snaps broke. So it was returned and I never got to enjoy the vest! Filson has long been known for high quality but I wonder if someone else is making these for them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very NiceReviewed by Anonymous from Fayetteville, Arkansas, U. S. A. on Saturday, December 20, 2014Read the description before you buy. This is not what I thought! It is even better. Pockets galore. Lightweight for a Filson vest. Hunter orange. Machine washable. The size is true. The vest is lightweight so you may want to order a size up if you are going to use it throughout the hunting season. Seams are well sewn, snaps match up and work. The back has a pocket where you can place things, but, it may not comfortably support heavy items. Hold items? Yes. Comfortable on you ? No. There are front pockets anyway that are roomy for extra shells, a book, calls, gloves, small flashlights on breast pocket, and what ever you may want to bring along. The vest is well sewn. I ordered two one as a gift and one for me. And much to my surprise it is made in the United States of America!

3.0 out of 5 stars. lighter fabric than expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Louisiana on Tuesday, December 9, 2014I have used Filson cruiser vests for 14 years for work. I work on river floodplains and have a lot of briars to deal with. I was expecting this vest to be made of canvas and have the anti briar properties of a hard canvas, like Filsons cruiser vests. The material that this blaze orange cruiser vest is made of is definitely not that. Although the material appears to be of the same thickness it is softened and may have a tendency to wrap briar vines.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Filson Blaze Orange hunting vestVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Raymond Ms on Monday, November 3, 2014The vest runs a little small so order one size up if you plan to use over a jacket . The vest is well made like all Filson products . I was able to catch this on sale for $55.00 including shipping . I could not pass it up and feel sure this will last for years to come !

4.0 out of 5 stars. GoodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Timber_cruiser from Maine on Saturday, October 11, 2014Size up 2 sizes to wear with a jacket. The "compass pocket" (below the grommet) should be separated by a snap. The awesome price on "DealFlyer" makes this one very well worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Well made and functional.Verified Buyer Reviewed by PNW Hunter from PNW on Monday, June 30, 2014I purchased this for the coming hunting season. I purchased several sizes too large to wear over other outerwear and this will definitely do the job.
Plenty of pockets. The material is stout and fit and finish is typical Filson...not many frills, but will get the job done for decades. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Filson PerfectVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Tuesday, June 24, 2014Another typical product from Filson. Yes, they tend to be more expensive than other apparel/gear items, but in the long run worth it. Fit is true, material quality just right for a vest of this kind.
