Shirts are a nice base layer and retain body heat well. I don't think they are worth the retail price but I got a great deal on them from STP.

However, the material is very light weight (the *padded* portion was maybe a bit more than regular thermal shirt thickness) and it had a very snug fit, especially in the arms. I'm a fairly average sized guy - not a burly armed weight lifter type - and usually a large fits me fine. It's not like I'm huge and the shirt is average; I am average sized and the shirt is small. It was super clingy, moreso than a snug base layer. If you're particularly thin, go for it - color was nice and material had a nice feel. But I had to send it back; would not have been comfortable wearing it.
