It's a nice fleece. I got it for the color and it is more of a light tan/ beach sand color than it looks like on my monitor. I hope it does not show dirt being so light in color. Nice details. Now for the minuses- Thinner than I thought, but O.K. At the waist there is no really substantial hem to it so it tends to deform and get kind of a weird shape to the waist/zipper area. Don't expect that clean waist look, like in the picture to last long. I wore it once and from starting the zipper the surrounding material stretched out and got kind of "drape-e".looking.(if that's a word). I'm not too thrilled about it but, it looks good under a jacket half zipped.

Like all Filson products that I have used, this is a quality item. Very nice trim fit and well-made. I like the standup-collar, the sleeve length, and the overall length, which is exactly the same as my tin cruiser. The fleece is very soft, and the styling is a little different than all the other fleece out there. It is warm and light as you would expect. For me, the thickness is just right, not too thin and not too bulky. The relatively tight weave may make the jacket more wind resistant than standard fleece, but you'll still need a shell on cold, windy days. The zippers are better than average, and the leather pulls are a nice touch. (Note: the two inside pockets have an opening at bottom, which is finished, so by design -- a little odd since any small item you put in there will drop out. The outside pockets are fine. Doesn't bother me, but worth pointing out.)

Material and fit hit the sweet spot on this one. I usually wear a XL to get what I need in height and sleeve length.
I read a lot a Filson reviews and ordered this in a large instead and it fit perfect since they seem to run big.
The one thing I don't like is the inside pockets having holes in one side. Reason?
It is light to medium fleece, so not for really chilly days without layers.
All the other Filson jackets I ordered in large had sleeves that were way too short for me so it is a hit and miss with their Men's jackets.
