Verified Buyer Reviewed by Zack Portland from Portland on Wednesday, December 17, 2014The jacket is incredible. I was a little concerned ordering it without trying it on, but it's a great fit. Construction is high quality and pockets hold everything I need. The only bummer is that Filson doesn't offer this in their regular product line!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by flifisher from Central Coast of California on Sunday, December 14, 2014Good quality. Outer shell is soft and not stiff like other waterproof jackets. This jacket has a lot of pockets. Side pockets for hands, chest pockets, rear pocket and inside pocket. I ordered a size large so I could layer for colder days.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by AJ in the Buff from Buffalo, NY on Saturday, December 6, 2014Built nicely, ran a little big in the body.
Will sea the water.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bob from West Virginia on Wednesday, November 26, 2014This is a closeout and not on Filson's website. Get them while you can. Great quality product and fit is perfect for me. Should last for the rest of my fly fishing career.
Question & Answer
Hello, I bought the XXL hoping it would be roomy enough for me. I wear a size 54 suit jacket. This wading jacket is VERY roomy. I feel they run a bit oversized. I hope this helps.
I wear a 44 also, but got an extra large because I sometimes fish in cold weather and thought I would need some room for layers. This runs true to size so if you mostly need it without bulk underneath get the 44. Should fit great.
Reading the only comments posted, I read that it runs large.
I am in between sizes. Med would be tight and large is always big. No a big issue for me. I would say if you are planing on wearing layers for the cold weather, go up one size.
ST has a great return policy if you decided on a large and it's to tight.
