Outer shell is soft and not stiff like other waterproof jackets. This jacket has a lot of pockets. Side pockets for hands, chest pockets, rear pocket and inside pocket. I ordered a size large so I could layer for colder days.

I have had many different rain jackets over the years, and this is the most comfortable jacket I have ever owned. The price for this jacket is outstanding. It is cut short and should be worn with waders, but that is on purpose. No drawbacks.

Comfortable, very tough, lots of room for casting, lots of storage, D ring on back for net, fleece on collar for comfort. This is jacket is built to last . It keeps the wind out but is very breathable. The double cuff system keeps the water out when releasing fish. I have owned lots of rain wear over the years and all have failed to meet my expectations. This jacket exceeds expectations, it is worth the $410 original price and is a steal at discounts found on this web site. Bravo Sierra Trading Post for providing such a quality product at an incredible price.
