The jacket is incredible. I was a little concerned ordering it without trying it on, but it's a great fit. Construction is high quality and pockets hold everything I need. The only bummer is that Filson doesn't offer this in their regular product line!

  • Question “I wear a size 44 jacket. Should I buy a size large or extra large in this fishing jacket?”
Asked on 12/16/2014 6:54:55 AM by The Laird from Virginia
    • Answer Hello, I bought the XXL hoping it would be roomy enough for me. I wear a size 54 suit jacket. This wading jacket is VERY roomy. I feel they run a bit oversized. I hope this helps.

    • Answer I wear a 44 also, but got an extra large because I sometimes fish in cold weather and thought I would need some room for layers. This runs true to size so if you mostly need it without bulk underneath get the 44. Should fit great.

    • Answer Reading the only comments posted, I read that it runs large.
I am in between sizes. Med would be tight and large is always big. No a big issue for me. I would say if you are planing on wearing layers for the cold weather, go up one size.
ST has a great return policy if you decided on a large and it's to tight.
