3.0 out of 5 stars. FitReviewed by hjohnsonjr from Oregon on Monday, January 26, 2015The body is two inches too short in XL. No tall available.
The snap is too stiff to work well on the chest location.
Excellent material and construction. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful but defective jacketReviewed by Anonymous from Nebraska on Thursday, December 18, 2014This jacket arrived defective. The lining of the sleeve was sewn in twisted so that my husband couldn't put his arm through the sleeve. STP was unfortunately sold out of his size, but I have returned the jacket to Filson for repair. At this sale price, the hassle is worth it. Hopefully the defect is limited to a single piece and no one else will experience this issue.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket, not oiled cotton canvas.Reviewed by Matt from tennessee on Saturday, September 20, 2014I knew when looking at this jacket that it was the fabric described as "dry tin cloth" by filson. The fit is slim, I ordered a large and normally fit awkardly between medium and large- the large fit like a glove. The sewing around the button holes is very slightly ragged with small threads sticking out but overall a very small issue compared to the overall quality. Also, if you tend towards sporting interests there are two deep game pockets in the front although, i think this may be more of a stylish feature as if you were to carry a bleeding animal in this light colored absorbent fabric people will probably think you have been shot.
