    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I've had 3 cover cloth versions of this rain coat from Filson & they were always my choice of coats and very comfortable to wear. All lasted about 5 years each with constant wear. Use it in the summer rain and winter snow. This shelter cloth model is a bit heavier so I hope it lasts longer. It's very versatile as it can be paired with 4 zip-in Filson varying thickness of wool vests liners and a wool jacket, thus allowing it to be worn year round & keep you warm and dry. I Like the blue color and the price which is less than 1/2 of what you'd pay for the cover cloth model. Since its on sale, I expect it to be discontinued, & at this price I'll buy another to keep around till this one wears out.
