Filson Uplander Leather Field Boots - Waterproof (For Men)

...and for good enough reason: They are not light, nor are they cool, the so called waterproof sock is sloppy and breaks-in with permanent creases that can cause blistering. The double layer can also give a guy heat rash that's very hard to cure. The Gumlite sole does not last long - 3 months of steady use - and since they are basically made for walking all day; why is the toe semi-pointed like a riding boot?! I bought these for [$] in 2009 when Filson was unloading them and would not pay that or more for another pair.They are leather and canvas and are not waterproof, ok. They are water resistant. Breathable? Naw, i'm wearing them right now with the laces down because they're hot

Last of the made in USA Filson boots? They are great fitting and lightweight. Wore them on a rainy day in the woods and my feet stayed dry.
