    Great brand with legendary quality. Since they don't make Lewis Creek coats in a decent upland configuration, this makes a good substitute. With no ventilation zippers it really won't work very well for warm to cool bird hunting. But it will work for the cold season, and will stand up to the unexpected shower.

    Nice Filson coat, even came with additional wax for the cloth. Game pocket is on one side of the front, but for me that's fine- do not get that many birds anyway :-). Was fine over a mid-weight flannel shirt for a day in the field in the high 20's to low 30's. You would need more underneath for colder days. Not a lot of ventilation, so probably not good for warm weather. I only wear a vest over layers for days mid-40's or above anyway.
