Fischer Silent Spider Nordic Skis (For Men and Women)

Wanted to upgrade my old skis, but I'm not an advanced skier. Wanted something easy to control, and that has the flexibility to perform well on both groomed trails and backcountry. I know that's asking a lot, and eventually I'll probably end up getting another pair of skis, but as a good all around versatile ski these are great. I did a fair amount of research before I decided to go with these. I followed the weight chart and am happy with both glide and grip. They are made especially to be good for handling in turns, and so far so good! I would definitely recommend them. At STP you are getting a ski as good as the current model, just a different color, and the color's not important! I have Rottafella NNN BC automatic bindings on them and they work fine. They are 56 mm wide and seem to be fine on the skis. I got the Rossi BCX 7 boots also at STP, along with Komperdell adjustable backcounty poles from STP, and ended up with a really nice package for less than a package price. These skis have gotten some miles already. On a particular day I went from fresh powder, to groomed trail, to snowmobile trail, back to groomed and all of it felt great on these skis. I recently put some miles on an icy loop and the metal edges worked perfectly. These are GREAT all-around skis and are perfect for Michigan winters!

I have really enjoyed these skis so far!! They are far and away superior to the skis I used last year, with their metal edge and smoothness!! The price was great too!!

Really liked the metal edges, they make skiing much easier. They don't feel any heavier than my last skis.
