this is a well reviewed ski here and in the press. It is a 2009/2010 model. I ordered in late April 2011, so I haven't been able to ski it yet. The price was truly amazing. [...] I'm expecting this to be a fun outwest ski and still be able to have some fun in the midwest. Hard to go wrong at these prices.

just got back from skiing snowmass, co after 14 inch dump. the ski performed best in powder. was also real stable in the crud while going through anything. you must plan your turns and stops because you have a lot underfoot. you ride these things vs. skiing them, the widest ski fischer makes. once you pick a line and the ski engages, hang on because the ski will go where you point it. oh yeah, these things are fast, especially on the flats where they can get squirrelly if you don't pay attention. a fun ski to be on in powder, they are a blast and turn heads on the slopes. the bindings are mid line tyrolia's with a fischer paint job, no problems or issues. overall a great value for a high end powder ski.
    • Cons: Slippery on the flats

This ski is extremely responsive and turns more quickly than the side cut would make you think. That being said, it is great for big lines in untracked. Also a great crud-buster. Can't say for sure if the powder hull works because I haven't skied a similar model without it, but it definitely does not hurt. Excellent grip on hardpac, especially for a ski with these dimensions.

    • Answer These are from the 2009/2010 season. They are first quality closeouts and have no defects. Skis are always delivered unmounted as you will have to have your boots to have them properly mounted to the ski.
