Reviewed by tomusa from NY on Tuesday, November 20, 2012My girlfriend and my mom have superlight crown xc ski for 5seasons now. They love them!I used to have rsc wax xc ski from fischer which i loved(205cm/too long).I exchanged them for superlight wax(197cm/still a bit long/used once). Now i exchanging them for these 197cm crown.Main reason for my last change is the crown at the bottom.Seeing my mom or girlfriend just rolling uphill while I'm sliding downhill instead climbing does not make me feel good about myself. They work well on groomed tracks because the small 48-44-46 side cut.If you planning to be off the tracks/bakcountry this ski is not for you.Go with BC xc ski instead.Sticker on the skis saying made in ukraine.there is word on the ski itself(austria). There is not made in austria/just the country name is there. My purchased ski are:197cm long/70-84kg/154-185lb.All is up to weight here! Not length!!Binding:your service center will need to drill holes to this skis!!! unlike my previous superlight crown skis-they come with "platform" which allowed you slide binding right in to it.These skis are perfect.I always stay with fischer and i love salomon shoes.Thank you sierra trading post!!!!Included pictures/you will receive ski on the left!
