Great shoe with many uses. Nice rubber sole with awesome grip. I usually size up a half size in athletic shoes, and I find with Five Ten a full size up is usually the rule. Slightly wider fit than Five Ten Warhawks but not a problem.
Sweet price for a sweet shoe!

i have been sad to discover that the keen sneakers i've been long using for bike commuting, with the nice rubber soles and cute style, are no longer being made the same. i have worn through four pairs. i've been searching around for a replacement. even though this shoe is not the same old school kind of style as those keens, it's a great choice.

i ride around on a thin platform pedal and put a lot of miles going to work and around town. i like a rubber sole that is grippy and good cushioning and arch support. this shoe has all that and plus it's super bad. i wish it was a different color because it's pretty eye catching with the white, but it goes good with jeans. i just have to pay attention to what color of sock i am wearing. the shoes broke in with zero discomfort, i could tell it was a super stiff shoe at first and it almost felt like the tops of the shoes were touching my toes but now it's all cush when i step into these dogs and i am ready to roll. i am not using these shoes to jump off buildings but i still feel like a superhero in them.

Haven't worn these long (about one week) so will post a followup later. Shoes look great, they blend a skate style show with a light hiker style making for a unique look. Shoes are comfortable and fairly light. Stiffer than I thought so will take a little breaking in. Traction is good, these could be worn for street/around town use but would also work as a short hike or scrambling shoe. Stiff enough for toe placement on objects while scrambling (probably due to the design background of Parkor precision work. So far a good shoe.

About Five Ten

Five Ten is a family-owned company dedicated to producing superior climbing shoes, approach shoes and outdoor footwear. Founded by veteran rock climber Charles Cole in 1985, Five Ten has been reinventing the climbing shoe since day one. Starting by creating an all-new, high-friction rubber compound for shoe soles that he would later dub "Stealth," Cole set out to enhance gripping power and make rock climbing safer in the process. Today, Five Ten climbing shoes like the Anasazi slipper and Prima shoe are worn by some of the world’s best rock climbers. In fact, even endorsed climbers who are paid to wear shoes by other companies resole with Five Ten's Stealth climbing soles. When it comes to performance on the rock face, few other companies hold a candle to Five Ten shoes.
