Reviewed by ejc from California on Sunday, August 30, 2015Within one hour of beginning the approach, the rand was flat on the ground and gathering gravel. If you get a pair that doesn't have faulty glue, it's probably a good deal.
Reviewed by Carolina from NC on Monday, April 21, 2014loved them, but sole peels away after 5th time of wearing them.
Reviewed by Boulderer from USA on Monday, July 15, 2013Great shoe. They do loosen up a bit, so for me it was regular sizing if not using as bouldering shoe, down 1/2 or whole size if using as light approach/boulder shoe. Toe rubber feels a bit slick.

Reviewed by Ilana gold from Oakland, CA on Monday, May 20, 2013Other reviews are dead on about sizing. However, these shoes do stretch a LOT and quickly. If you're using them as casual kicks go a full size up. If you're using them as intended with bare feet or thin socks for slabby approaches or bouldering only go up a half size or they'll likely get sloshy real quick. Trust me, they WILL stretch by the end of the first or second use.
Bought these for approaches at the Leap and Yosemite and have since just used them for bumming around. Great fit with bare feet. Super sticky on concrete and rock. I hung around in them at the gym just to see how they' do and had no problem flashing up to V3 on bouldering problems. They are *super* soft and sensitive so mashing onto tiny toe holds was fine. Totally recommend them as a great shoe to mess around in if you get em with a snug fit. They are also incredibly light. Lightest shoes I've ever put on. Looking forward to using them for multi-pitch approaches this Spring!
Quality wise Im bummed b/c I've worn them a total four times and the sole is already peeling away a bit from the leather up around the big toe. Five Ten is still having all around quality issues. Gah! Really stinks b/c the shoe is discontinued, so a warrantied replacement is not an option. Other reviews have a good year on them before fail so I'm pretty bummed to be having to do preventive maintenance on them already with the tube of shoe goo :/ Other than that, they are sick sick shoes and I love them.
Question & Answer
According to our fit models these run a full size too small, if you wear an 11 you should order a size 12.
