Verified Buyer Reviewed by Luke from Marquette, MI on Tuesday, October 30, 2012My impression after one trip to the climbing gym is that these shoes will be great. They have typical sticky rubber that 5.10 is known for. 5.10 sizing tends to run small, I ordered a half size up and the fit is a little more snug than I would want it, but they should break in perfectly.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Climb On from Laramie, WY on Sunday, October 28, 2012With 5.10 climbing shoes I must get one size larger than my street shoe size (mine are size 10.5). I bought size 11.5 and they are still a bit tight. But they should stretch into excellent fitting shoes.
- Best Uses: Bouldering, Slabs
- Cons: Tricky To Fit Properly
- Pros: Excellent Rubber, Great Edging, High Quality Construction

Verified Buyer Reviewed by dbmemphis from Vancouver, BC on Tuesday, June 12, 2012Ordered 2 pairs within my size expectations (10.5), and both were too large and clunky. Returned. I'd probably have to go 2 sizes down to get a proper fit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by givemoretakeless from davidson, nc on Tuesday, June 12, 2012strange, this shoe ran 2 full sizes too small for me.
- Best Uses: duh
- Cons: Runs Small
- Pros: Easy on, Simple design
Answer We got the shoes as Closeouts, so they are just discontinued models. The sizing is uniform. No one shoe is going to fit everyone's foot the same. Thats probably why the reviews are contradictory.
