5.0 out of 5 stars. Super grip

Bought these for use on my KLR 650 Dual Sport for riding in San Diego/AZ roads, both paved and gravel/dirt/sand. For "dual purpose" they stick well when you have to put a foot down on pavement and are ok for mild off road excursions.( For serious off roading the bike gets "real" knobbies and I get my Alpinestars Tech 8 boots.) While these boots when used for riding a motorcycle riding lack crash protection they run MUCH cooler than conventional MC boots. Also, they give you a superior "feel" of the bike, sort of like riding with sneakers.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect 3 season vegan workboot

I bought these because I wanted a boot that was made without leather. If you're a vegan these boots are for you too. They're lightweight & the nylon is breathable, you can see the light through it. Won't be good in wet weather but that's not what I bought them for. They're comfortable & I got them for $66, that's cheap.

First time I put on the boots I was surprised of how lightweight they were. I also like the parachute cord laces, makes for easy on and off. I would buy these boots again.

I purchased these boots for my son who is in SC planting 2500 tree saplings a day as a reforestation worker. He wears then on dry days when it is hot and will also use them on hot day hikes and when he is in TN hiking.

About Five Ten

Five Ten is a family-owned company dedicated to producing superior climbing shoes, approach shoes and outdoor footwear. Founded by veteran rock climber Charles Cole in 1985, Five Ten has been reinventing the climbing shoe since day one. Starting by creating an all-new, high-friction rubber compound for shoe soles that he would later dub "Stealth," Cole set out to enhance gripping power and make rock climbing safer in the process. Today, Five Ten climbing shoes like the Anasazi slipper and Prima shoe are worn by some of the world’s best rock climbers. In fact, even endorsed climbers who are paid to wear shoes by other companies resole with Five Ten's Stealth climbing soles. When it comes to performance on the rock face, few other companies hold a candle to Five Ten shoes.
