5.0 out of 5 stars. smartly constructed

After returning the xl for a large, a rarity for me, 46R in a suit, this is cut considerably larger that other fjallraven products, and for me, 34 sleeve in dress shirts, the sleeves are a good 2-3" long. My body aside, this is a very very well made jacket, the material spot on, and the button snaps, sewing, pockets and general architecture, reeks of good quality. The ability of easily making it more windproof and water resistance with their wax (a small cake of which should be included), make this very versatile as well. A real handsome keeper and go to jacket. I wish, and this goes for much outerwear, the neck protector buttons/snaps were cut more generously, as there's often the need to wear something under them.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, but . . .

This "jacket" is more like a heavy shirt, and the sizing is larger than expected. Even with the great discount offered through STP, I decided to return the jacket and purchase something more substantial.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Sturdy Jacket

Jacket is true to its size fits me right 6.1 feet tall 180 pound athletic built. It has no liner so need to layer inside for colder weather . Jacket looks really nice, too with my kanken backpack to booth. Only downside was that it arrive in two weeks with UPS which is not the jackets fault.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Another great Fjallraven product

Fits true to size, unlike many other European brands. I am a 6'3" 250 lbs American male. I usually take a size XL in most US made or designed products. However, most European males are apparently much smaller than we are in the states. Fjallraven gear is sized similarly to American designed clothing. No need to go up a size or two. This jacket is roomy enough for layering but not overly baggy. The material is bomber and improves with wear. Highly recommended.

About Fjallraven

The Fjallraven story started more than 60 years ago when a 14-year old named Ake Nordin began trekking in the mountains of his native northern Sweden. Eventually, Ake started to notice the backpacks of the time didn't bear loads well, and decided to build his own. Within a decade, Ake was creating backpacks under the name Fjallraven, which translates to Arctic Fox in Swedish. Today, Fjallraven backpacks, jackets, fleece and outdoor apparel are helping people discover and enjoy the great outdoors all over the world. Choose Fjallraven packs and outdoor gear, and take your adventure to new heights.
