I find side- zip pants are more flattering than front zip on my size 12 frame.Zero pockets means a smoother fit along the hips. The no- waist style is more comfortable than a waist band. My 2nd pair -needed navy earlier and only petite was available, which worked out fine - just browsing and saw still on sale and thinking tan will be useful - available in regular which not only is the length more to my liking, they are a little less snug at the zipper! This lighter color shows wrinkles more than the navy.

Picked these up at drastically reduced sale price so had to get closest size to what I really wear - the 8 petite fits nicely, almost too nicely (usuallyI find this brand runs a little big). These are very sleek, elegant longish capris, almost an ankle pant, even in petite and I am not quite a petite (5'4") They were exactly what I wanted.

I took the advice of previous reviewers and ordered one size up and they fit perfect. The brand is a famous maker--high end too! I LOVE these pants and will get a lot of wear out of them. Only thing that would make them better is front pockets---I guess they wouldn't lay as flat them. Very nice pants.
