I have a pair of Florsheim dress shoes from 30 years ago that I can still wear - good quality and comfortable. In recent years my experience with Florsheim has been less than acceptable. The top stitching on one of these shoes failed after wearing the shoes for less than two weeks - lesson relearned... Florsheim has chosen to make a stiff, uncomfortable and now apparently disposable shoe. I'll stick with Johnston & Murphy, Allen Edmund and Clarks.
