These started off great - a bit narrow fitting initially, as others have reported, but they quickly stretched to provide a comfortable fit. However, in just over 3 months, the stitching all around the toe in the right slipper has come apart and it just flaps now when I walk in them. The left one so far has remained intact. And I'm not hard on slippers - no football or anything like that :-) - just wear them around the house. Perhaps I received a bad pair but that shouldn't happen with slippers that cost this much. Oh,and the laces always come undone eventually - it happens with every pair of slippers with laces I've ever owned. Again, maybe just a bad pair but I won't be getting another pair just to find out. Back to Staheekums I guess!

Previous/Post comments are accurate. I am a wide, and the moc's felt a little narrow for about 15 min. After 20... I was in love!

Also, accurate about temp--without the "fur" these are perfect! Warm but not hot--no sweat! Perfect barefoot or with socks!

Had three weeks now and can't wait to get home and put these on. They are perfect to go outside, and maybe even wear to the local breakfast house on Saturday!

BTW, I have a teenager (boy) and wearing "slips" everywhere is now fashionable(?). He bought a different pair with the fur inside... and he has commented that he likes mine better.

Perfect slippers-----the lining is just right. Wool is much too warm...fleece is just right.

The only drawback might be during the summer when it would be too hot to wear these slippers.

Although these look like they can be worn outdoors, it would not be prudent. They are really a house shoe. Great for indoors and maybe a quick trip outside.

I got these for DH this Christmas and he was so surprised! He never had a pair of slippers this nice--they were a little out-of-budget...and he loves them! He can now take the dogs out in the evening for a short walk, make a trip to the woodpile for firewood and relax in comfort in the house all in the same pair of shoes. It's a real novelty for a man who practically lives in hiking boots to have a pair of these slippers, and his socks are going to last longer and be cleaner because of these! He did think they would be too tight right out of the box, but then he took off his thick socks and they fit beautifully! Hooray for nice slippers!
