Florsheim Gladwin Moc Toe Boots (For Men)

The quality, in looking seems to be good, but what is good quality when I can get them on. I usually wear a 9, but I thought I would get a 9 1/2 so I got wear heavier socks. Even with thin dress socks I couldn't get them on.

After reading other reviews, I ordered a half size larger than usual, and the fit is very good. They seem to run a little narrow. Leather is very supple and this seems like a comfortable, well built boot.

The first pair I ordered a half size up from my normal dress shoes and they were too large. The second pair I ordered in my dress shoe size -- and they fit perfectly. There is enough adjustment to allow the use of a partial orthotic. They fit me with and without the orthotic. These work well for me in wet but not downpour conditions. The boots aren't really waterproof and the leather our-of-the-box is not water repellant. I like the smooth leather look which makes them usable as good casual shoes -- almost dressy.
