I wanted this coat to keep me warm in the winter, and it is a very warm coat. However, I'm a very small guy, and the S size almost fit my friend, who's 6' 2". I wish it came in a smaller size.

The puffy does not restrict movement at all. Furthermore, the pit zips make it light years better than any other puffy out there.

Was planning to use for skiing. I ended up using my Grenade brand jacket and 868 jackets instead, cause they came with a powder belt built in and are water proof. They are also a bit nicer and picked them up on sale for less than what I paid for this jacket at STP. I used this jacket for walking around Salt lake city while it snowed it kept me warm didn't spend too much time outdoors while it snowed, out of hotel short walk to restaurant, and at the out door mall. I still have to try it out on the slopes but would not wear this on a day it was snowing since its not water proof. Makes you look a little puffy but not bad. The shoulders and back fitted well, but the sleeves run a little long, not too bad though. I believe fly low is a bit pricey for what they offer.

  • Question “How bulky is this jacket? What type of lining? Is this jacket waterproof (mm/g)? I'm 5'6" 130 lbs. What size would be best for me?”
Asked on 9/5/2010 12:00:00 AM by Killingpablo from HB, CA
    • Answer It says H20 resistant.|The jacket is not at all bulky, At first I though that I would need quite a few layers under it.|I skied it in 15-25MPH winds under snow guns and the white stuff that mother nature had to offer and with just Two light layers of Wool as base layers I was toasty and Dry with no "Wet Out", Even when standing under the guns!|The jacket runs true to size.
