I have arthritis in my big toes and need excellent arch support to avoid pain. Birkenstock is by far the best shoe for this and these are true to form. They provide excellent arch support. They are also extremely comfortable & very nice looking. The only down side is I don't like suade because I cook alot and I don't find it easy to clean when i get food on my shoes. Also, they are open in the back. Sometimes shoes open in the back slip off - these don't do that at all, they're very stable. However, I don't think I'd wear them in the rain. I hate wet socks.
Best Uses: Around the house, Casual Wear, School, Travel, Work
Cons: Suade is hard to clean
Pros: Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Stable, Stylish
To see US size, hover your mouse over the sizes listed, a small drop down box will appear with the size. With these shoes, 37 is US size 6, 38 is US size 7; it is recommended that half sizes order down. In width, N is for narrow, and R is for regular.

“The shoe being "Narrow" would I be better to get a size 7 instead of 6? I usually wear size 6.5 but my feet are not narrow..”

While that may work, most likely you'll wind up with a shoe that's too long and too narrow. We do have regular width available in these shoes in the Black Woven Leather. Just click "R" on the order page where it says "Width."
