Comparing to the Columbishanks patrol parka he has outgrown from last year, this jacket is a winner in every way! Although he hasn't had a chance to wear it to ski this year, I know he really likes the design too. The only problem I can think of is the length of the jacket runs a little short for my son, who usually wears M though a 6'1" himself. I got L for him but it still looks too short on him. Fortunately XL was still available! It might just be my son who needs a longer jacket for his height. Funny thing is, he doesn't look ridiculous in XL either. I'm very happy with this purchase!
