Got this jacket for my son and am very pleased with the quality and the liner is HEAVY. The liner is only useful on those 0 degree days. Overall, the jacket is well worth the $$.

good design for snow boarder. If it were slim fit cut, that would be a plus.

Very nice color. Well constructed with nice features. I am used to wearing a shell of less than a pound. I should have noticed the weight of this in the specs: nearly 5 lbs. I returned it because it was too large and too heavy.

As far as size goes...I'm an average build (5 ft 10in, 165 -170 lbs). I bought a medium and I believe it to be the right size for me. It is a loose fit, but it feels right. I say this because I typically get a jacket in a Large thinking I will have room for a sweater or other layer underneath. With this jacket, you won't need another layer. If it is that cold, you will have the liner (that comes with the jacket), and still plenty of room for a thin wool sweater. I plan on only wearing a thermal shirt and add/remove the liner as needed. The powder skirt is snug, but I believe it should be to keep the snow out. I tend to pull it down low, below my waist.

I like the jacket. Was between large and x-large at 6'1" and approximately 188 lbs. I wear a 42L suit jacket and the fit on the large is good (the snow skirt is a little tight). If you prefer a loose fit you can go to the x-large but my wife says its too big on me. My wife indicates the insulated shirt doesn't look good with the bluebird coat. I don't care so much as it can be removed or worn as needed. She really does like the outer shell color though as do I. Good Value.
