Reviewed by Brandon S. from South kakalaky on Thursday, May 09, 2013These are kinda like buying two pair of shorts. The inner spandex is designed to be cut away from the outter shell. The inner shorts are comfortable and the butt pad is nice. The outter part has plenty of pockets but is a little short for my taste. Coming to just above the knee. I like my shorts at the knee and think I would like the Ranger 12's better. But the 12's were twice as much, so I'm happy with these. I would recommend these only if buying at a discount. No way are these worth retail.

Reviewed by Freedonia from DC on Tuesday, April 09, 2013I've had trouble in the past finding true-to-fit bike shorts. As a bigger guy, a 42 would really be a 38! These are true size. 42 was a 42. Thank goodness. The velcro adjusters helped a little because my rear would hang a little w/out the liner, which I only use for long rides. I just needed something for my daily commuter of 6mi. Pretty happy with these.

Fit me perfect and it also has adjustable waist straps on each side for aditional size adjustment. I mainly ride to work and on the weekends will try to get a 30-40 mile ride in on my hybrid bike. Didn't want to go the spandex looking route and I'm glad I did with these nice looking shorts. The only possible negative I see is the fabric may turn out to be non-durable and that's why I gave it 4 stars.
