Can't beat the price and the warming power of pure wool. Runs large-I shrunk it on purpose. Be careful--dry on medium and take out before completely dry so you can make sure it doesn't shrink too much. I use them under my tall, insulated leather boots. Warm for as thin as they are.

Socks are pretty standard, but I like warmer without having to be 9 yards thick, so I can fit them in my boots. These worked well in layers with regular athletic socks, and heavyweight driWear type socks to keep out the cold of Rocky Mountain frigid air.

Bought these for use as liner under thick winter socks for cold-weather hikes. They're a good value for the price. Nice sock, good thickness for the above purpose, just seems to me they are a bit bigger than the marked sizing.
