    Good sock w/ utility function, Foot length way long--Fox notes on packaging that sock is a Second. Heel is placed up my achilles, but doesn't matter since sock is thin, durable and there was not discomfort.

    I have sock liners in different fabrics. These are first in silk. They are really nice. I sometimes work outdoors, so these will fit the bill.

    The part of this sock that fits around the calf does not stretch enough to go around a thicker calf so it ends up all gathered around the ankle. Fits my teen daughter perfectly. Otherwise great for that extra layer of warmth under socks. Would only recommend for thinner people.

    I bought these because I've not been able to find my favorite hiking socks any more. Most socks have too coarse a knit for me. After several hours of hiking, I feel that coarseness on the soles of my feet and it hurts. I was a bit concerned that since these were for both men and women, that the width would be too large. Not so. These seem just fine.
