“useful addition”

“I got them because some of my wool blend socks just weren't warm enough. These don't add bulk like wearing a normal second pair of socks. They do add some warmth, but not as much as I had hoped for. It's 0 degrees outside and my hardwood floors are cold. I have furry lined slippers that were very warm but made my feet sweat. Now I can wear my slippers w/o that problem. That was a nice surprise. I haven't had them long enough to comment on durability, etc. I got 3 pair and although they are 2nds, I don't notice any obvious flaws. They were out of my size so I got a larger size, but they work just fine.”
