Frye Campus Crepe Boots - Calf Leather (For Women)

Great boots. Worn them alot so far.

Love Love Love these boots. I have been searching for frye boots for awhile and finally found them in my price range and couldn't be happier!

I love these boots and am so happy to finally have my own pair! They are durable, and will last a very long time. From the instant that they came out of the box, it was like I was walking on pillows - very firm, comfortable pillows. Fabulous! And, I usually wear a 9.5 and I ordered that because I usually wear socks with my boots. They fit perfectly!

'Great looking boots reminiscent of the 60s. Crepe soles make them comfy. Soft, beautiful leather. They run a little big, but if you have a high instep they can be very difficult to put on.

Frye boots are always very well made and normally MUCH more expensive. The crepe sole is unusual and I suspect they won't last as long as the traditional campus leather sole/stacked heel. Plus the leather is a bit softer than my last pair of campus boots. But on the plus side they were instantly broken in and the crepe is super squishy comfortable.

I Like the boots but I ordered something different.

I got these in Saddle, and they're just lovely. The crepe soles are very quiet and springy compared with the leather-soled Campus boots, and they feel a bit lighter (this may also be because they have a 12-inch shaft, not a 14-inch shaft). My pair has a cosmetic flaw on the leather at the heel of one boot (which is not going to affect the life or wear of the boot at all); the flaw is almost unnoticeable when I'm standing looking down, and the natural color variation with the Saddle color camouflages the flaw. I wondered if these might be seconds (but then I have another pair of Fryes that I bought at full sticker price and came with a similar flaw on a different part of the boot upper). I'm keeping these, though, and unless anyone studies these boots up close, no one will know about the flaw but me!

These boots are the bomb! Very nice and comfortable.
