Closeouts. For retrophiles in need of modern kicks, Frye's Greene low lace shoes exude vintage-inspired looks, accomplished with a washed and tumbled leather upper with distressed rubber foxing at the sidewall for a worn-in look.

These are cool and look great. A little lighter than expected (a "light" shade of black, if that makes sense). My only complaint so far is that they are very susceptible to water stains--like, a drop from washing dishes made a noticeable stain. So, waterproof these before wearing them (even around the house!)

The first day that I wore these shoes, I immediately got compliments from two different (non-affiliated) people. They are stylish and all of that nonsense. With that said, they aren't the most comfortable shoes in the world. I say this modestly, though... because my previous shoes were some fancy-pants Merrells, and those were the most comfortable shoes ever created. For me, these Frye daddy shoes had some big shoes to fill.... and they are doing adequately well at it.
