Fantastic purchase, If you buy boots regularly, you know that a half size and a pair of socks are the answer! .Honestly the best purchase from this site recently. A half size smaller than American....so 10 uk =10.5 USA. Fit great and £180 cheaper than my last pair

I read the other reviews and ordered a half to full size smaller, which resulted in me not even being able to get the boots on my foot. My closet is full of size 8 and 8.5 shoes, with running shoes at size 9. A size 7.5 was way too small. I really wish the boots did fit, they are well built and exactly what I was looking for.

Old school and stylish, these are great around town. These are not outdoor hikers for bad weather.

They do run small, I went a full size down and they fit great after break in. The stitching and leather, inside and out, is very nice. They feel like they'll last a decade and fit better the entire time. They're impossible to get on and loose in the heel initially. After six or so days the heel tightened up and they're easier to get on and off.

Only unexpected downside is a seem on the footbed where the heal section is covered in a second layer of light leather down to the arch area. That arch seam wants to roll up when they're slipped off. It flattens back down and doesn't cause any problems when I put them back on so maybe that's just the way slip-ons work. The gray coloring does wipe off with some saddle soap and elbow grease.

    The good:
    1) Not made in China (Made in Mexico) 2) Quality Leather 3) Good looks 4) Can get resoled 5) The white chalk comes of easy 6) Seem to break in easy

    The Bad
    1) Run small (I wear 9 1/2 or 10..the 9 fit good) 2) The rubber tread on sole is only about two quarters thick - not sure it will last long
    3) They are almost impossible to get on. 4) Very little support
