I've been looking at these in my garden catalogs and they are pretty spendy. If these hold up as well, it will be a real find for me. Now I wish I had gotten more.F
Reviewed by Dee from California on Wednesday, June 26, 2013I have bought both styles of Gardman planters on STP and I would say that this particular style is best suited for tomatoes or peppers that have very long root systems.I bought another double tomato & pepper planter that did not work well as the sides would not hold up the soil well.
I like these MUCH better! Good Gardening!

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Yipee Ki Yay from COLO on Thursday, February 7, 2013Too early to plant so won't have specific comments about performance for a few months. First, they are very very big. The pepper/tomato one will hold a 20 cu ft bag of soil and about 4 giant plants. Second, I want these on cement patio surround, and hope the color doesn't bleed. Third, they have no structure to hold their shape, so it will be like pouring dirt into a plastic trash bag, they will get blobby and saggy, resulting in careful watering or the soil will spill over the top as the sides collapse.
