“Wonderful fabric! Looks better on hanger”

“I really wanted this to work. The fabric is more beautiful in person. The button detail is really interesting. Sadly his Jacket does not work for me. I tried on all sorts of combinations of clothes. The jacket just doesn't GO with my casual outdoorsy (Aventura , Northface, Royal Robins, Ann Taylor Loft, the Gap) existing clothes. It has a vague '80's suit style. Although it didn't have 80's shoulder pads the shoulders seemed more prominent than they should be. The sleeves were long; The body was short. THe jacket only has the one unusually place button and makes the jacket open at the bottom which on me did not look tidy. It would be hard to add another button. If the matching skirt was available or a person had a more polished (and high waisted?) wardrobe to start with this might work for them. I need a versatile jacket that matches and dresses up my clothes. This isn't it. If I kept it I would at least need my tailor to shorten the sleeves. The Jacket body length of it might still make it a seldom worn jacket. Too bad. It looks SO nice on the hanger . It fit but didn't look right. Boooo Hoooooo.. =(”
