Excellent boot with just the right mix of light weight for the backcountry and stiffness for aggressive skiing. The perfect boot for someone who doesn't want to compromise in their backcountry boot.

If you have wide feet like mine, you will have to go to a boot fitter. However, after adjustments, they are great. It is comfortable and kept my feet warm. I have not tried them yet for backcountry skiing.

Love these boots. Very light. Great if you want one pair of boots to use at the resort and in the back country. Nearly as stiff as a regular alpine boot, but much lighter. Warm and wide. If you are looking for a purely back country boot, for 10 days of AT skiing from the yurt, this might be a bit too stiff, but if you occasionaly put on some skins and occasionally buy a ticket, these are a great option.

I am a ski patrol member and normally know better than buying a pair of boots on-line. This pair definitely reinforced this theory. [...]
