Reviewed by MC from Montana on Thursday, June 18, 2015I have worn Garmont boots for the past 10 years and they fit me well. I currently wear the Axons and was looking for something that I could put an alpine sole on for when I travel and don't want to bring my skis. These fit a little bit bigger than my other boots and the boot sole length is a bit longer than my other boot in the same size (287mm vs 295mm for a 25/25.5). The BSL is consistent with the Radium and similar models of that time period. Since these just come with the AT sole block, I did a lot of searching for the alpine blocks. I wasn't able to find them online, but I contacted Scott Sports, the company that purchased Garmont a few years ago and was able to get the part number so that my local shop could order them. The part number is #237667 and you would need to contact a Scott dealer to order. There are two sizes, 25.5 and smaller is a Small and 26 and larger is Large. Looking forward to trying these out this winter.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Betthane from Colorado on Tuesday, November 25, 2014I always get a good fit from Garmont, so i may just have a Garmont shaped foot. These fit great, true to size. Ski great even though feel stiff in flex.
only reason I dont give them 5 stars is slightly heavier than other AT boots and adjusting forward lean took two people to loosen the adjustment.
Reviewed by skibums2008 from Lake Tahoe on Sunday, October 26, 2014This is a great high performance AT boot! I ski in my AT boots even if I'm in the resort and needed something stiffer than my Scarps Spirits. This boot gives me the power that I need without sacrificing the flexibility when climbing/touring. I found the sizing to be the same as any other Italian ski boot I own.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Susan from Wisconsin on Tuesday, October 7, 2014Again, this is the third time trying to order this boot in a size that will fit. I normally wear a 8.5-9 womens shoe. I tried the equivalent size in these boots and they were way too small. So I ordered a whole size up, the boots came, and they felt like the exact same ones I had just returned. So my husband ordered the largest size they carry. The boots came, and still not a good fit. We are finally giving up on this purchase and going to return them.
Reviewed by Nicole the mtnbike skier from Washington on Tuesday, October 8, 2013The fit is good, the padding is minimal but that could be good since it is less likely to pack down after a lot of use and become too loose.
Haven't tried these on the mountain yet, still another month or so for opening day, will have to update this review after a few days.
