Garmont Eclipse III Gore-Tex® XCR® Trail Shoes - Waterproof (For Men)

size was a little small but useable; will likely loosen up as the shoes break in

very comfortable, I walk 2 miles every day rain or shine. I like the fit on Garmonts (roomy in toes - snug heel, flexible) These are sturdier and heavier than trail runners.

This is my 3rd pair of this model shoe. The soles on this model have lasted me over 2 years of heavy duty walking. I am a NYer and world traveler. These babies have gone the mile trust me. The could be a little more comfortable yet maybe the durability would lack. They run a little small so order the next size up. Not much else to say other than if you want a low cut hiker Garmont and this model will do you justice. The price on STP was amazing. It was a no brainer purchase for me.

these are for my husband for xmas...hopefully he likes them regardless of the fact that they are made in china. He prefers US or European made products.
